Lake Kiffin to add a notable face to the staff
As per Chris Low of ESPN, “Kevin Smith is finalizing a deal to reunite with Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss as RB coach. It’s been an exodus from [the University of Miami] staff this offseason.”
Keep in mind that “Smith was with Kiffin at FAU and then went with him to Ole Miss and helped recruit Quinshon Judkins.”
How did the College Football world react?
As soon as the news broke out on Twitter, College Football fans went crazy and flooded the post with numerous replies.
“Kevin Smith on his way back to Oxford to take back over as RB’s coach,” a fan said.
“Ole Miss led the SEC in rushing in 2020 and was 2nd in 2021 under Smith. Who didn’t have Judkins to work with either, obviously,” another user tweeted.
A Canes supporter even asked, “I love K. Smith he a dawg but this mean the OC get to bring his own guys in??”
Adam Lichtension went on to tweet, “A lot of Miami coaching news today”.
Smith is awaited by some of the finest runners come fall.
