Is there a cut at the 2023 Hero World Challenge?

The 2023 Hero World Challenge is scheduled to take place at the Albany Golf Club in The Bahamas from November 30 to December 3, 2023. With a $4,500,000 prize pool, it will have 20 players on the field.

On Friday, following the conclusion of the first two rounds, Tiger Woods’ event will not have a cut, in contrast to previous PGA Tour competitions.

When the event was first held in 2000, there were 16 players on the field. It was raised to 18 players later in 2008. The field was then expanded to 20 players in 2021, and the top 11 players, according to the Official World Golf Rankings, together with the winners of the most recent Players Championship, four Major champions, and four sponsors exemptions, are included.

The field of 20 players is for the next unofficial PGA Tour tournament. This includes the host, Tiger Woods, who is playing again after a protracted absence. His last sighting was at the Augusta National at the 2023 Masters.

Examining the Hero World Challenge 2023 tee timings, pairings, and schedule

The winners of the 2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship and the 2023 Open Championship, Brian Harman and Lucas Glover, will be the first to tee off in the next unofficial PGA Tour event. Their play will begin at 10:46 am Eastern Time.

In the opening round, Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas are grouped, and their tee time is set for 11:52 am ET.
