Free Fire India Championship 2022 (Spring): Registrations are Now Open for FFIC 2022 Spring

Free Fire India Championship 2022 Spring Split (FFIC 2022 SPRING) has started its registration process from today 7 February 2022 at 9:00 AM IST, which will be open for four days. Free Fire India Championship 2022 Spring Split is the first official tournament of the year 2022 from Free Fire India whose registration will end on 11 February 2022 at 8:00 PM IST.

Garena has recently posted on its Facebook page, Free Fire Esports India, about the details of FFC mode. FFC mode commonly known as open qualifiers will start its match day on 11 February 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM IST.

All the registered teams will get 10 tickets each during registration for matchmaking. Each ticket will only be valid for a single match and only the top 5 scores from 10 rounds will be utilised to decide the overall rankings of the team. A total of 42 teams will qualify for the closed qualifiers of FFIC 2022 spring from the FFC mode. The 42 teams and the 6 teams (7th to 12th ranked) from FFPl 2021 winter will compete in closed qualifiers and the top 12 teams will make it into the League stage of the tournament.

The top 12 teams will be grouped with the top 6 teams from the FFPL 2021 winter in the League stage where they will fight to qualify for the Grand Finals of the event to win the handsome amount of 1 Crore INR.

Tournament Format:

The teams will have to fight with each other by the route of 5 challenging stages which will be played in the Battle Royale Squad Mode.

As mentioned above a total of 42 Teams will be participating they will further be added with 6 Teams ranked from the 7th-12th from the now concluded Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) 2021 Winter, and this will happen from 16-20th February 2022 from which Top 12 teams will get a chance to fight with the Top 6 from the FFPL Winter 2021, and they will get a chance to participate in the Spring League Stage

There will be 3 stages namely:

  1. The League stage,
  2. The Play-ins and
  3. The Grand Finals.

Moreover the top 12 teams from the League Stage will be divided into 6 teams and 3 groups in total, every group having to play against each other in the round-robin style over the 9 league days from 11-27th March.

Out of which the Top 2 will qualify directly for the Grand Finals and the remaining 12 teams will participate in the Play-Ins on 3rd April for the remaining 6 spots in the Grand Finals.

The winner of the FFIC 2022 Spring will get  a golden opportunity to represent their region in the Free Fire World Series 2022 Sentosa Grand Final while the runner-up will get to participate in the FFWS 2022 Sentosa Play-Ins.

Also the Top 12 will be qualified for the FFPL 2022 Summer. 

FFIC 2022 Spring registration: Eligibility criteria and rules 

  1. It is mandatory for all players of all the teams to be ranked in Diamond 1 and Level 40 with a Rank Point of 2538 before the registration and throughout the entire period of FFC mode of FFIC 2022 Spring.
  1. Players are not allowed to play for multiple teams either as a player, as a substitute, or via multiple accounts in FFC mode.
  1. All the participants must be citizens of India or Nepal.
  1. Teams can only play with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 6 players.
  1. The required minimum age of all players is 16 years in 2022.

The top 6 teams in the given list of qualified teams from FFPL 2021 Winter will directly feature in the League Stage of FFIC 2022 Spring Split. Furthermore, 7th to 12th ranked teams will battle in closed qualifiers with 42 teams from FFC mode qualifiers. Here is the list:
