Controversial Debate Over Michigan Football and the ‘Death Penalty’ Decision

Michigan’s football team, coached by Jim Harbaugh, is being looked into for reportedly trying to steal signs from other teams.
They allegedly sent someone to watch games of their rivals, which is against the rules. Right now, fans are investigating this. A writer is saying that because of this, Michigan’s football program should face serious consequences, known as the “death penalty.”
“I think it needs to be made abundantly clear that altering the integrity of the game is the worst possible offense a program could commit. Whether that punishment comes from the NCAA, the Big Ten, the College Football Playoff committee or the University of Michigan themselves, I don’t really care,” he argues.
“I can’t comprehend some of the arguments I’ve read or listened to from Michigan fans over the past week. There is no turning back here. There is absolutely no way that Michigan’s administration should allow coach Harbaugh and his staff to continue leading this program. Nothing could justify that.”
Assuming what is being reported about the alleged cheating scandal with Michigan football is true, I don’t think there’s any way Jim Harbaugh should be allowed to keep his job.

My thoughts on why Michigan needs to be dealt a severe penalty ⬇️⬇️https://t.co/tvv32CPHF2
Michigan’s doing really well – they haven’t lost a game and are ranked second in the country as we enter November. However, there might be trouble ahead because they could get punished.
Let’s wait and see how things turn out.
