The Royal Rumble will visit San Antonio, Texas for the fourth time in WWE history. The ceremony will take place at the Alamodome, which is marking 30 years on January 28.

Royal Rumble is one of the largest and most eagerly awaited WWE events of the year. It includes a 30-person men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match. The winner of both Rumble fights receives a  direct opportunity to compete for the championship at WrestleMania 39 in April.

What can be expected?

Cody Rhodes will participate in the men’s Royal Rumble match after tearing his right pectoral tendon in June 2022. 

Roman Reigns faces Kevin Owens to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Title outside of the Royal Rumble. It is their third match during a Royal Rumble tournament. Reigns defeated Owens in 2017, while Owens defeated Reigns in 2021. 

The RAW Women’s Title will be defended by Bianca Belair against Alexa Bliss.

The final Pitch Black match, presented by Mountain Dew, features Bray Wyatt against LA Knight.

Fans in the United States can watch the WWE Royal Rumble on pay-per-view or through Peacock.
