Warzone 2 Season 6 leaks indicate the release of a new Battle Royale map:
According to recent reports, information about the Season 6 content for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has been leaked and posted online. It has been hypothesized that a document file obtained as a result of an Activision security breach is the source of these leaks. The Haunting of Saba event has drawn fans’ attention more than any other intriguing information in the leaked document. The document included several different pieces of information about the series in addition to the event and Season 6 content. The 2023 Call of Duty game codenamed “Jupiter” and the Season 3 and Season 4 release dates and content lists for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 were also revealed. However, the document did not include the Season 5 content list and release dates.
Season 6 of Warzone 2 may feature a new Battle Royale map:
Warzone 2 has two maps: one for Battle Royale and one for Resurgence. The Battle Royale map Al Mazrah was available from the start, and the Resurgence map Ashika Island was added in Season 2; however, recent leaks indicate that two new maps may be added in future Seasons.
Season 6 is set to begin on September 15, 2023, and will run until November 8, 2023, according to leaks. The sixth Season’s content list included the following:
- Two new Operators, one Licensed
- Three new weapons
- two core maps for Modern Warfare 2 and one Ground War map (Battle map)
- A limited-time ‘Haunting of Saba’ event
- One new Battle Pass
- One Tier 1 event
- 70 in-game store bundle.
Out of all of these things, the Haunting of Saba appears to have attracted the most attention. This is due to the limited-time event known as Haunting of Verdansk appearing in the previous iteration of the battle royale game. It gave the game a sinister theme in honor of Halloween. Verdansk was an interesting map in Warzone 1, and the event was named after it.
Given this justification, it is conceivable that “Saba” will eventually appear as a map. The series frequently switches up its main Battle Royale map. Verdansk was the first map in Warzone 1, but it was later dropped and Caldera was added.
Furthermore, Season 5 will likely introduce a new map called Saba given the lack of information regarding its release dates and content list.
However, the Season 4 content list also indicates that a potential new Resurgence map may be coming to the game. The list of new content includes a reference to a “small map,” which may allude to a new Resurgence map; however, neither the name nor any other details have been confirmed as of yet.
