Update on Uncle Howdy’s WWE RAW status unveiled

As the year’s Royal Rumble event approaches, WWE fans anticipate the next development in the plot featuring Bray Wyatt, LA Knight, and the enigmatic “Uncle Howdy” during tonight’s episode of “WWE SmackDown” inside Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. An update on how WWE is handling the Uncle Howdy character’s preparation has been made before tonight’s show.

Since November 2022, Wyatt and Knight have been at odds, but they haven’t faced combat. At the Royal Rumble, that will alter as the two will square off in a Pitch Black Match. Uncle Howdy, who may have once kidnapped Knight, has been a crucial component of the plot. He frequently appears during Alexa Bliss segments on “WWE RAW,” and on a recent episode of “SmackDown,” he even attacked Wyatt. Now, according to Fightful, WWE submitted materials for Wyatt and the “Howdy” character to Detroit for “SmackDown,” though it should be noted that this doesn’t guarantee one of them will appear on the show. According to reports, Firefly Funhouse stuff was also sent over, but regardless of whether the props are used, this prep process is typical for WWE.

Who’s Uncle Howdy?

Uncle Howdy’s identity is still unknown. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, some people think it might be former WWE superstar Bo Dallas (Bray’s real-life brother), who has been speculated to join the company. He remains a mystery.

Uncle Howdy made his first physical debut in front of a live audience on December 16 during the “SmackDown” broadcast, dueling with Wyatt who was in the ring while standing on the entrance ramp. Numerous rumors have surfaced regarding the potential actor for the part, but Fightful asserted that WWE has been “playing it to the vest.” All indications point to Wyatt’s real-life brother, former WWE star Bo Dallas, as the performer, despite claims that the actor playing Uncle Howdy doesn’t even take the mask off backstage.
