She also has a record of scoring the highest number of centuries and half-centuries in women’s test matches with her smashing five 100s and 11 half-centuries. The best score of brittin’s is 167 in test matches while also the most number of Test matches from 1979 to 1998.

Charlotte Edwards
Charlotte Edwards has grabbed the second spot in this list of the most run scorers in the women’s Test matches. The Former captain of the England cricket team has amassed a total of 1676 runs in test matches. Charlotte played a total of 23 matches (43 innings) with a great average of 44.10. Charlotte’s performance in ODI and test matches were similar which can be seen from her average in the test. She has smashed 4 centuries and 9 half-centuries in this harsh format. 117 runs are her best score in test format. R Heyhoe Flint
The third spot in this list is taken by R Heyhoe Flint with her smashing 1594 runs in this long format. She played a total of 22 matches or 38 innings with a great average of 45.54. Her career on the women’s cricket team was real long as she played for a total of 22 years, she played for England from 1960 to 1982. She was the first woman to smack a six in this long format. When she was leading the women’s cricket team, the six test series from 1966 to 1978 were consecutively won by them. She has smashed the second highest number of centuries in women’s cricket (10).

Deborah Ann Hockley
Deborah Ann Hockley is the fourth cricketer on this list of most runs scored in Women’s test matches. The former Kiwi has amassed a total of 1301 runs in 19 test matches (29 innings) with a remarkable average of 52.04. Her average is quite amazing as there are not many players even in a men’s cricket team with an average above 50. She played for New Zealand from 1979 to 1996 (17 years).

CA Hodges
Carole Ann Hodges, the Ex-English cricketer has taken 5th place in scoring most test runs in Women’s cricket. She accumulated a total of 1164 runs in 18 matches she played for the England team with an excellent average of 40.13. Hodges smashed 2 centuries and 6 fifties in her test career of 8 years. The best score in her career is 158 in test matches.
