Team XO won the Skyesports BGMI Grand Slam 2022: Standings, prize pool distribution, and more 

Team XO claimed the title on the final day of the Skyesports BGMI Grand Slam 2022. Team XO was on top of their game every day of the tournament and battled in each match with consistency. The five chicken dinners overall and tactical gameplay in all the matches resulted in 444 points which included 154 finish points.

Team Soul was excellent in the whole tournament and continued their fierce gameplay by pleasing their fans. Team Soul notched 416 points and 188 kills and claimed the runner-up position. They acquired the most 6 chicken dinners in the 42 matches played in the Grand Finale. The underdog team Celcius Esports joined the Team Soul in most chicken dinners list with 6 wins and acquired the fourth position on the table with 362 points.

The winner of BGIS 2021, Skylightz Gaming, despite poor performance in the earlier matches of the event, fights back in the last few matches to grab third place with 387 points and 161 frags.

Another fan favorite team, GodLike Esports finished in the seventh position while team TSM showed exceptional gameplay on the last day to secure the fifth spot.

The first match of day 7 was played on the Erangel map of the BGMI Classic mode. Skylightz Gaming won the first match with 8 finish points while Team Soul acquired second place with 10 kills despite losing star player Goblin early in the match.

Team Forever won the second match played on the Miramar map with 13 kills. Team XO showed impressive gaming and grabbed the second spot with 8 frags. While Team Soul didn’t get a single kill and got eliminated early.

After early elimination in the second match, Team Soul made comeback in the third match and attain the chicken dinner with 5 kills. However, TSM played exceptionally to notch 16 kills and finished on the first spot. They were followed by Skylightz Gaming in second place with 8 kills.

The fourth match of the day witnessed the furious battle of the teams while TSM came out on top with 8 kills. Team XO and Team Soul maintained their balanced performance and acquired six kills each. Despite that, Team Soul got an early exit while Team XO grabbed second place.

The Fifth match was played on the Sanhok map in which Skylightz Gaming became victorious by acquiring 5 frags. Team GodLike remained in second place with 8 kills. 

The final match of the last day was claimed by Celsius Esports who got 8 kills. They were followed by Enigma Gaming in the runner-up position.

The tournament awarded a prize pool of 15 lakh. Team XO took home INR 8 lakh while Jonathan from Godlike named MVP for his 69 finishes and was rewarded with 1 lakh INR.
