Shoaib Akhtar is dissatisfied with the ‘UNFAIR DECISION’ in the T20 World Cup 2021

Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar doesn’t seem to get satisfaction ever! After the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 concluded with Australia’s historic win against New Zealand, the tournament gave the award of the Player of the Tournament t0 David Warner. 

Shoaib Akhtar, utterly disappointed with the decision took it to Twitter and tweeted in favor of Pakistan skipper Babar Azam. His tweet reads:

“Was looking forward to seeing @babarazam258 becoming Man of the Tournament. An unfair decision for sure.”

Babar Azam was appreciated widely as he managed it well in both areas whether be it batting for Pakistan or Pakistan’s captaincy itself. Azam made 303- the highest runs in the T20 World Cup 2021 and played subtly all over the tournament. 

On the other hand, David Warner made the 2nd highest run score of 289. 

Warner completed 3 half-centuries from seven matches whereas, Azam took it a step further by making 4 half-centuries out of six matches. 

The Kiwis with their outstanding performance put an impressive 172* runs-goal up on the board while the Australian side chose destruction and took it to the extent where Warner and Mitchell Marsh both hit their half-centuries. Even Marsh was left untouched right from the beginning that he made 77* runs for his side. 

Australia Squad becomes the first super team to take the big tournament Trophy home. With the absolute correct form throughout, they made everyone believe in the right team management.
