Salman Butt slams Ravi Shastri for contributing nothing to the crucial team selection

Salman Butt has utterly refused to get settled with Ravi Shastri’s claim of not giving any input along with India’s skipper Virat Kohli in the team selection process of the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2021. 

Talking about the topic on the YouTube Channel the Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has come in front to peep into the matter more. Butt even stated that it is not the right thing to be done keeping the coach-skipper duo out of the very decision. He stated:

“How is it even possible? Can’t believe that there were no inputs from Ravi Shastri and Virat Kohli regarding India’s team selection, who have been at the helm of the side for close to five years? The coach and captain decide the brand of cricket the team will play. If they do not have players of their choice, then they will not be able to do that.”

India is now in safer hands by the way! Rahul Dravid is expected to bring so many more successful years and matches ahead. The team selection for the NZ T20I three-match series has been decided by the new coach-skipper duo; Rahul Dravid-Rohit Sharma. Rahul Dravid is expected to bring good to the team as Ravi Shastri did in his 2-years of head-coach tenure. 

After India’s early exit from the big tournament by the disappointing losses against Pakistan and New Zealand, every Indian cricket fan, as well as big former cricketers, is left in utter disappointment. 

India will lock its horns with New Zealand for the T20I three-match series on November 17th Wednesday, in the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
