Reports: Is Cam Thomas Japanese? All you need to know about his parents 

Cam Thomas is one of the upcoming superstars of the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. Cam is a Japanese-born American basketball player, who has recently become famous as he scored 40 or more points in two straight games. Thomas was born on 13th Oct 2001 in Yokosuka, Japan, and later on, he was selected by the Nets as a professional basketball player.

His mother Leslie Thomas was also a basketball player, and she had played many matches as a high school basketball player. Leslie always takes care of Thomas and his older sister, Shaniece Collins, as a single parent. Later on, Thomas surprised his mom, with his selection to the basketball group at his university.

After that, he got selected by the Nets, as the nets coaches were impressed by his skills and performance. Thomas always says that his journey to the NBA was not possible without his mother’s sacrifices. On the other hand, Leslie his mother gives all the credit to the late Kobe Bryant who inspired his son to become a great basketball player.

Cam Thomas has an impressive match against Washington, as the rookie has scored 44 points and led the Nets towards a 125-123 victory against Washington Wizards. Continuing his game, the star on Monday night made history as he scored two straight 40-point against the LA Clippers, at the age of 21 years and 116 days. 

He is now ranked as the second youngest player after James who has scored two straight 40-point games at an early age. After that game, the young star made his name registered in history, by making a tremendous record.
