Novak Djokovic’s coach Goran Ivanisevic files lawsuit against ex-wife and daughter over financial dispute

In connection with a money disagreement, Novak Djokovic’s coach, Goran Ivanisevic, has sued his daughter, Amber Maria, and ex-wife, Tatjana Dragovic.
In 1998, Ivansevic and Dragovic started dating, and in 2009, they got married. Together, they are parents to two kids, Amber Maria and Emanuel. In 2013, the couple formally started the divorce process. The Croatian and Nives Canovic were married in 2017 and are parents to a boy named Oliver.
According to an exclusive revelation from the Croatian newspaper Nacional, Ivanisevic has brought many lawsuits against his daughter and ex-wife. According to reports, Dragovic gave his daughter Amber an apartment in Zagreb, which the Croatian is allegedly requesting half of.
The 52-year-old also sued Dragovic to recover a 2.5 million euro debt; as a consequence, a court order was issued to freeze Dragovic’s accounts and forbid him from selling the home.
Tatjana Dragovic was also alleged to have believed that the courts were biased in favor of Ivanisevic because they were disregarding the “documents used to defend themselves (Dragovic and her daughter) and testimonies about domestic violence.”
Since then, Goran Ivanisevic has responded to the social media claims. The Croatian responded to the accusations that he was a “family abuser” and a favorite in court, saying that his goal was to get back the money he had earned both before and during his marriage to Dragovic.
“To start…the moment I dared to seek the money I earned before and during the marriage, which T.D. appropriated despite all laws and contracts, I became a family abuser and the court’s favorite,” he said to Instagram. (translation from Croatian)
“I’m just waiting on a lawsuit to come out claiming that the T.D. in question won two Olympic medals, Wimbledon, and perhaps even a Grand Slam, though the court hasn’t verified it yet. Please get in touch with my attorneys, Mr. Mandic and Mr. Stanic, who have been handling this issue for a long time, with any questions you may have. respect, Goran,” he continued.
Nives Canovic, Ivanisevic’s wife, offered her support in the comments section.
“Justice is slow but attainable ❤️,” she commented. (Translated from Croatian).
