"Not the ideal World Cup result for us, but we learn and grow"- KL Rahul tweeted after India’s group-stage exit

Owing to the responsibility of early exit from the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Indian cricketers – Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya took it to Twitter and penned down heart-touching tweets.

Virat Kohli tweeted that their union couldn’t bring the best out of them and didn’t perform well, and are highly disappointed by their early exit from the campaign. Virat’s tweet reads:

“Together as one, we set out to achieve our goal. Unfortunately, we fell short and no one is more disappointed than us as an aside. The support from all of you has been fantastic and we are grateful for it all. We will aim to come back stronger and put our best foot forward. Jai Hind.”

The Indian skipper decided to quit the captaincy from the shortest format and that the match against Namibia was his final one. Virat’s boys couldn’t manage to bring the cup for him however their big takeover by 9-wickets over Namibia was unforgettable.

Also, KL Rahul didn’t lag behind in realizing and mentioning India’s disappointing performance yet being hopeful he put it on Twitter, thanking his fans and followers for unconditional support and further said :

“Not the ideal World Cup result for us, but we learn and grow. Grateful to all our fans for their love and support. Thank you to our coaches for helping us grow as cricketers. A big shout-out to @virat.kohli for being a leader who led by example and for everything you have done for us.”

KL Rahul incredibly managed to earn a total of runs of 195* out of five matches in ICC T20 WC 2021 which is the highest in India’s leading run-scores.

Hardik Pandya also joined the mission and thanked their fans for their love and support and also mentioned that they will be working hard in order to win the next consecutive matches successfully. Hardik’s tweet reads:

“This wasn’t how we wanted our World Cup campaign to go. We fell short but we will work twice as hard to repay the faith and support shown to us by our fans. Thank you to everyone who cheered us on at the stadiums and everyone back home.”

Despite being able to win the matches against Scotland and Namibia, India couldn’t make it to the semi-finals and got disqualified. Pakistan and NZ proved to be a big flop for India’s campaign in the ICC T20 world cup 2021.

Now that India got a new pair of head coaches and skippers- Rahul Dravid and Rohit, India is definitely going to change it into a hit show for every Indian cricket fan. They both together can bring the best out of every player and that is what is needed the most.

India is going to play the test series against NZ, Rohit Sharma will be the captain for the 1st test match as Virat Kohli needs some rest for some time.
