The deceased wrestler, whose real name was Jamin Pugh, was killed in the incident on Tuesday (January 17). In a heartbreaking update, his wife Ashley Pugh expressed concern for 12-year-old Gracie’s recovery.

She also requested prayers in a Facebook post, provided an update on her family in the wake of the tragedy, and stated that their son Gannon is “waiting at home.”

“We need prayers! WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER!!” She wrote.

Ashley also asked her Facebook friends to “Pray for her precious legs to move again!” She also asked them to pray for the operating doctors.

She said, “Pray for Jayleigh who has some really bad injuries, but is stable and wrestling,” and added that their son, who was at home at the time of the accident also needed prayers.

‘Pray for strength for all of us! We have a long, long road ahead of us.’

Ashley had published images earlier that day from their daughter’s Spirit of Hope cheer competition, one of which showed the Ring of Honor champion driving as Ashley was seated in the passenger seat and their two kids were in the backseat, already dressed and styled for the occasion.

Followers immediately expressed their sorrow over the situation after hearing this tragic news. They prayed for God’s mercy to be extended to Jay Briscoe’s two daughters.
