Offensive tackler Jac’Qawn narrows down recruiters
Offensive tackle Jac’Qawn McRoy has announced his list of potential destinations for the upcoming season and Tennessee is in there.
Tennessee was part of the narrowed-down list of ten suitors. The Volunteers have not made the list of two of the most exciting offensive tackles in 2024. It is Jac’Qawn who put them on the list on Saturday, followed by Daniel Calhoun a few weeks back.
Who are the potential suitors on the list?
McRoy has so far shortlisted Tennessee, Ole Miss, Miami, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Auburn, Oregon, and Arkansas. The most likely destination for McRoy seems to be Auburn Tigers to whom he paid a visit soon after they hired Hugh Freeze as the new Head Coach.
Numerous recruiting services are unsure about McRoy’s national standings. Recruiting services are split on McRoy’s national standing. However, his 6-8 and 340 lbs body structure makes every other school think twice.
During his junior season, he attracted offers from four schools. As a matter of fact, McRoy plays for the same school whom Tennessee wideman Squirrel White played for.
The Volunteers are known for recruiting skillful players. However, they are in dire need of a quality offensive lineman to block lines for them. McRoy could as well make Tennessee go all the way in until the end for him to commit his future to them.
