India announces its squad ahead of T20I New Zealand

After an early exit from the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, India has now new challenges standing like a wall in front of them. Rohit Sharma- Rahul Dravid being the new pair of India’s Skipper and Head Coach appointed officially by the BCCI has selected their 11-men squad for the T20I New Zealand.

India is going to resume its practice from 17th November where New Zealand will be visiting India for 3 matches with Tests. 

Rohit, speaking ahead of its team selection, brought Venkatesh and Gaikwad in along with top wicket-takers- Harshal Patel and Awash Khan. The squad lists go as follows:

India’s T20I squad: Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (Vice-Captain), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Ishan Kishan (wicket-keeper), Venkatesh Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal, R Ashwin, Axar Patel, Avesh Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar, Harshal Patel, Mohd. Siraj

Glued with Ashwin, Axar Patel, and Deepak Chahar selectors have also been given a chance to new CSK openers and wicket-takers. 

BCCI has also introduced the audience to the ‘A’ Squad for South Africa tour. The India ‘A’ Squad is as follows:

Priyank Panchal (Captain), Prithvi Shaw, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Devdutt Padikkal, Sarfaraz Khan, Baba Aparajith, Upendra Yadav (wicket-keeper), K Gowtham, Rahul Chahar, Saurabh Kumar, Navdeep Saini, Umran Malik, Ishan Porel, Arzan Nagwaswalla.

Fortunately, things will be changed from now, no one will possibly be left in disappointment from now and hoping for the extreme best the new duo of Head Coach and skipper do wonders for the team.
