Guide to Find Erdtree’s Favor +2 Talisman in Elden Ring

Throughout your time in Elden Ring, there are many different talismans available for use. Some of these are designed to improve combat stats, while others are better suited for exploring the vast open world of the Lands Between. Certain talismans enhance a player’s Strength or Intelligence stats, which is ideal for players who specialize in those areas. Other talismans are geared towards increasing a player’s looting ability, which may not be as useful in combat but can be helpful for farming enemies.
While most talismans are intended for specific situations, there are a few that can be worn at any time without needing to be switched out. The Erdtree’s Favor bundle of Talismans is one such item, especially the strongest variant of the bundle. The Erdtree’s Favor talismans are among the best in Elden Ring and provide buffs to three different stats. Like other talismans in the game, there are three variants of Erdtree’s Favor, with the most powerful being the +2 version.
The Erdtree’s Favor +2 significantly increases maximum HP, Stamina, and Equip Load. The lesser versions also provide boosts to these stats, but not to the same extent. The +2 variant increases these stats by 4%, 9.6%, and 8%, respectively. This is a significant increase and can make all the difference in a fight or when reaching the Heavy Equip Load threshold.
Players generally aim to stay at Medium Equip Load or lower so they can dodge quickly. However, if a player’s build revolves around heavy armor and exceeds the Equip Load threshold, this talisman may not be the best choice for them. For all other players, Erdtree’s Favor +2 is an excellent option for any talisman slot.
Guide to Find Erdtree’s Favor +2 Talisman

To have a chance at obtaining the talisman, you must first progress to the end of Elden Ring. This can only be achieved after Leyndell transforms into the Ashen Capital, which happens in the late-game stages. It’s worth noting that you won’t be able to access this part of the game until you’ve defeated Maliketh, the challenging boss in Crumbling Farum Azula.
Once you reach Leyndell, the Ashen Capital, finding Erdtree’s Favor +2 is still a difficult task. The talisman is situated on a large tree branch in the center of a spacious courtyard on the eastern side of the capital. The location can be easily identified using the map provided below.

To get to the large open space on the map depicted above, you can use the Forbidden Lands Site of Grace as a fast travel point and take the elevator back up to the main part of Leyndell. Then, head out of the western door, defeat the soldiers and knights in front of you, and descend the stairs. Take the next elevator down to reach the courtyard.
In the courtyard, you’ll encounter three Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirits blocking your path to the tree that leads to the Talisman. However, if you stick to the left wall of the courtyard, you can make your way to the other side and climb up the tree branch to obtain the Erdtree’s Favor +2 Talisman.
