Georgia Line-backer arrested on Wednesday
Last Wednesday, Georgia’s Jamon Dumas-Johnson was arrested following two misdemeanor charges.
As per a report from The Athletic, the sophomore was arrested under the grounds of reckless driving and speeding/racing on the highway. He was released half an hour into being placed in the Athens-Clarke County jail.
It was later confirmed that the incident took place earlier on January 10 having checked the school logs. The officer in charge said that there were two cars involved which were found speeding. However, both vehicles escaped when noticed the officer.

Dumas-Johnson is a Butkus Award Finalist for having made 70 tackles (nine for a loss), including four sacks in his second season. He featured in a total of 15 games for national champions.
Jamon is a key returning figure in Georgia’s defense and stands at 6-foot-1 and 235-pounds. The All-American has been a part of the defense that conceded just 14.3 points on average in the previous season.
