ICC T20 WORLD CUP has witnessed its first warm-up matches wrap up.

On October 18th there started the warm-up matches for the 2nd set of the eight confirmed Super12 teams to play two warm-up matches each.

Yesterday on October 18th, Dubai stadium witnessed an eventful win for India against England. India being the winner even won the toss and the match thereafter. Kohli the captain decided to bowl and let England bat first. 

England opener  Jason Roy and Jos Buttler were bowled by Chahar and Shami respectively after which England obtained a total score of 188/5 in 20 overs.

Indian bowlers were no less than anyone, Shami alone took 3 wickets from 40 bowls while Bhumrah and Chahal both snapped 1-1 wickets each. 

Talking about Indian opener, KL was the first and best choice for the Captain Kohli and by proving captain right Rahul right from the beginning set a pace and made 54 runs out of 24-balls. Rahul being Rahul he didn’t spare any of the England bowlers right from the beginning. Rishabh Pant contributed to the team with his one FOUR and three SIXES ! Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya also batted but they didn’t have to deal with a huge amount of deliveries.  

Also, It was Moin Ali’s power paced batting that gave England strength to score an impressive 188/5, 20-ball 43 he contributed.

India finished the match in its King style performance with the scoreboard left with an impressive 192/3 and 6 balls yet to be batted.

This is the last World Cup match of Kohli being the captain of India and also Ravi Shastri being the coach of India. Mahi being the mentor this year is enlightening the team with his skills and experiences. This World Cup will state whether Kohli would step down with a happy face or be disappointed once again! 

After the 2nd warm-up match against Australia on Wednesday the Indian cricket team will begin its T20 WC campaign against Pakistan on October 24.
