Fans Are Excited As Roger Federer Gets Back On The Court
After quitting tennis in 2022, tennis legend Roger Federer seems excited to come back on the court. Since his emotional retirement in September of last year, Roger Federer has maintained a low profile, but he recently made a comeback to the court in Dubai.
Roger Federer as the greatest tennis player:
One of the greatest tennis players of all time is Roger Federer, who’s a Swiss professional. His eight Wimbledon victories set a record, and in 2018 he became the first man to win 20 Grand Slam men’s singles titles. Federer became a professional in 1998 and maintained a top-10 ranking every month from October 2002 to November 2016.
Roger’s injuries and retirement:
Due to a knee ailment, Federer had to admit he would not be able to play tennis professionally until he was in his 40s, forcing him to quit his spectacular career. Federer suffered a knee injury in 2016, after which he underwent knee surgery in which the meniscus was “trimmed,” meaning a significant amount of tissue was taken out. For several years, he was able to resume playing.
Federer declared his intention to stop playing tennis in September 2022 after enduring a tough battle with injuries. He had claimed that due to ailments, he had “stopped believing” he could continue playing, which led to his decision to retire. It was expected thereafter that his career as one of the greatest male tennis players would, unfortunately, come to an end, but three months after declaring his retirement, Roger Federer has now assured fans that he is “back on the court.”

Federer is an all-court player with versatility, and tennis fans adore him for what they believe to be his effortlessness. His return to the field was met with enthusiasm from his fans, who were overjoyed to see their idol once again playing.
