ESPN’s NFL Live crew gave a heartfelt goodbye to Mina Kimes before her maternity leave.

On Monday’s show, ESPN aired a special video where all of Kimes’ colleagues wished her well.

“I really can’t wait to tell this little guy how awesome his mom is … He’s so lucky to have you as his mom,” Laura Rutledge said.

“While his son doesn’t know it yet, he hit the parent lottery,” Field Yates declared.

“We will not try to replace you because we can’t,” Ryan Clark said. “We’ll miss the fact that you make everything that you’re a part of better, but we all get to be uncles and aunts to one of the greatest little babies in the world with one of the best mothers in the world.”

Marcus Spears said he’s “thrilled” for her and playfully suggested that Kimes should encourage her son to become a defensive lineman.

After the video ended, Kimes, with tears in her eyes, wondered how she could pick Monday’s games after such an emotional tribute.

Kimes joined NFL Live in 2020 after writing about players for ESPN The Magazine and hosting ESPN Daily. She announced her pregnancy at the ESPYs in July.

In response to the video on social media, she wrote, “Love my TV family. See you guys soon.”
