“Burrowhead my a**, it’s Mahomes’ house”, said Travis Kelce after getting  victory over the Bengals

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has regained the respect and attention of the people underestimating them. People were comparing Mahomes and Joe Burrow.

 It was said that Burrow was replacing Mahomes as the best quarterback in the AFC. Even the Stadium ‘Arrowhead’ was referred to as ‘Burrowhead.’ 

Kansas City Chiefs frustration over ‘Burrowhead’

The Chiefs’ players were fed up with all the talk always centered around the Cincinnati Bengals. 

Despite Mahomes’ remarkable accomplishments, of winning the Super Bowl and MVP award, he has not received enough recognition. On the other side, Burrow was more respected and acknowledged because he had beaten the Chiefs in the last season. Mahomes could never defeat Burrow and had a 0-3 losing record against the quarterback. But after the 23-20 victory over Cincinnati Bengals, the Chiefs have proved their value, moving on to the Super Bowl 2023. 

After the game, the Chiefs gathered together for an interview. 

The Chiefs evidently felt the disrespect and showed their repressed anger this time. As the tight end, Travis Kelce took the mic and said, “burrowhead my a**, it’s Mahomes’ house.”

Patrick Mahomes added to this by saying,” I don’t think we have any cigars, but we will be ready to go in the Super Bowl.”

He mocked Joe Burrow by saying so, as he is known to celebrate his victory with cigars.

It seems that the  Chiefs, especially Patrick Mahomes, have avenged his loss of this season and are ready for the Super Bowl.
