BGIS Grand Finale Day 1: Godlike Esports top the overall standings

The BGIS 2021 Grand Finale day 1 was moreover the day of GodLike Esports. GodLike finished in the top position at the end of day 1 after dominating the other teams in the lobby. GodLike won a match out of 6 matches that played on Day 1 and grabbed 49 finish points overall. They remained on the top of the overall standings with 89 points.

Hyderabad Hydras followed GodLike to acquire the second spot and showed stupendous gameplay with 66 points and 24 kills. The gunfights of Skylightz Gaming were eye-catching as they acquired third place with 65 points and 23 frags. Hyderabad hydras and TSM each caught two chicken dinners. However, one of the favorites TSM finished in 4th position despite their two wins. 

BGIS 2021 Grand Finale Day 1: Match-wise results and standings

Match 1: The first match of day 1 was overall claimed by TSM and they acquired 8 kills with a chicken dinner. While the most aggressive gameplay was shown by GodLike as they conquered 15 enemies and finished in second place.

Match 2: The second match was played on the desert map of PUBG Mobile India. Hyderabad Hydras won the second match comfortably with 6 kills. Reckoning Esports and Enigma Gaming held second and third position with 10 and 6 kill respectively.

Match 3: TSM again showed extraordinary performance and won the third match with 14 finish points. While they were followed by Revenant Esports in the second position with 8 frags.

Match 4: The fourth match of Day 1 was played on the rainforest map of BGMI, Sanhok. GodLike converted their brilliant form into victory in the fourth match with 13 kills. Skylightz Gaming gained the second spot without any finishing point.

Match 5: The fifth match witnessed fierce gameplay of teams. Hyderabad Hydras secured the second win of the day with 12 frags. Team XO and Reckoning Esports continued their consistency and acquired 2nd and 3rd spots with 7 and 8 finish points respectively.

Match 6: The last match of day 1 was won by Tactical Esports on the Erangel map. They finished the battle with 12 kills in their sack. Udog India emerged in the last game with 2 kills and finished in second place. 

Neyoo of GodLike Esports was named top player of day 1 of Grand Finale with 19 finishes and damage of 2378.

Other teams with higher expectations like 7Sea Esports and Team Xspark showed adequate performance and finished in 11th and 14th position. Hopefully, they still have a chance to bounce back in the game.
