As the LA Lakers lose a close contest against the 76ers, James makes an annoyed figure

With the outcome of the team’s recent game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Lakers superstar LeBron James was extremely unhappy. The Purple and Gold were defeated 112-113. James expressed his thoughts on the team’s play.

The Lakers fell short in the closing seconds of the game yet again. On Sunday night, the Lakers suffered a heartbreaking double-OT loss to the Dallas Mavericks in their previous outing. As we’ll see, in the dying seconds of the game against the 76ers, the Lakers fell to 19-24 on the season. 

The Lakers played without several key players. And then, late-game execution will always remain a weakness for this team.

It was expected to be a celebration for James, that night for becoming the second player to cross 38,000 career points in NBA history. From the public and media, Russell got a lot of hate for his decision to take the lost shot himself. 

James was genuine, sad about the loss keeping his comments short. He summed up the match sentiments within the locker room.

LeBron James was unable to lift the Los Angeles Lakers to victory

On Sunday, the Lakers saw an incredible & historic performance by LeBron James. Starting hot, James put on a show for the crowd at the Crypto.com Arena. James quickly grabbed a handful of points to cross the 38,000 mark.

However, it wasn’t enough to guide the team to a win. But LeBron ended the night with 35 points, eight rebounds, and 10 assists against the Philadelphia 76ers.

According to the board, Laker had fairly solid performances across the board. Overall, the Lakers weren’t that bad; the actual problem was the late execution of the game.
