Are the Indian super 11 ready for the T20 Super-12?

By the end of the week, the ICC T20 World Cup matches with their Super 12  will take place. All the 2 sets of warm-up matches for the T20 World Cup are done and dusted.

Out of which India has managed to win both of the matches quite impressively. It played against England and Australia on 18th and 20th October respectively.

India has shown off its skill righteously in every T20 match till now. Unfortunately, the last T20 World Cup 2016 didn’t make justice to the team. The confident players set a target of 192/2 against West Indies, the latter won the title by 7 wickets. And with that MS Dhoni’s captaincy dusted for Indian Cricket Squad.

Present T20 squad: Virat Kohli (Capt), Rohit Sharma (VC), KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Ishan Kishan (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Rahul Chahar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Shardul Thakur, Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohd Shami.

On comparing the earlier and the present squad, the distinction cannot be made because the players then and now are different from each other in skills, experiences, maturity, and potentials.

Earlier were skillful and has managed to take over the details thoroughly and beautifully. Presently the young players like KL Rahul, are very confident as the openers, on the other hand, the bowlers with their spin bowls, manage to dictate the field subtly.

Dhoni was the captain in the 2016 WC and has managed to add calmness whether the fresh or the old players are talked about, and that’s something appreciable. On the other hand, Kohli being the aggressive captain always determined to win by adding confidence in the players.

On being asked about who utilized the players up to their full potential full marks would be given to Dhoni because of his high experience of bringing good out of every player. Kohli on the other hand sometimes struggles to do that.

The players like Rohit and Shami are still playing in the squad which is a good sign as they are well known to the environment of WC. The present squad players are undoubtedly the first and the best choice for India.

Also, the mentor and the head coach-Dhoni and Shastri respectively of the Indian cricket squad are doing justice with the team by sharing their experiences and adding details to their game righteously.

The squad’s full potential will be tested in the approaching T20 World Cup 2021. On 24th October India is clashing its sword with arch-rivals Pakistan.
