Alabama Crimson Tide is at the No. 1 position again on 1 February National Signing Day 2023. It’s not uncommon for Alabama now since it has been at the No. 1 position thrice in six years. Coach Nick Saban of Alabama scored 327.68 total points to grab the No. 1 place on the 247 Sports Team Ranking for College Football recruitment on National Signing Day 2023. Coach Saban has a top-class team with most five-star and four-star players signing up for Alabama Crimson Tide.

According to 247Sports records, Alabama has nine players ranked as five-star, who are EDGE Keon Keeley (No. 3), offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor (No. 5), and safety Caleb Downs (No. 8). 11 of a total of 100 top-class players now signed up for Tuscaloosa, Alabama, or are already playing for Alabama. All are in awe of Alabama’s collection. Andrew Ivins, director of scouting for 247Sports is all praises about Keeley (6-foot-5, 242 pounds), from Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida, who is now committed to Alabama. Andrew stated, “Already pretty muscular and well-developed in the upper half, but should only continue to fill out over the next few years and has a chance to add 25 pounds or so,.. The type of pass rusher that has shown that he can attack the corner with both speed and power. “ Another prospect, Downs (5-foot-11, 197 pounds), from Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia, and the MaxPreps National Player of the Year and Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year season 2022 is talked about by Saban. In December Saban said, “First of all, he’s a great person. A really smart football player. Football means a lot to him. And the guy’s a great competitor, loves to compete. Their team won the state championship. He was all into that. Could have gone anywhere he wanted to go and wanted to stay with the team that he played with the whole time, and they won the state championship in Georgia, which is a significant accomplishment. I just think he’s the right kind of person. He’s got leadership qualities that are hard to come by, and the guy’s really got a lot of talent physically to be able to develop into something special.”

Gabe Brooks, national scouting analyst for 247Sports spoke about another prospective quarterback as Saban wants a good quarterback for Alabama is up for grabs on Eli Holstein, the 6-foot-4, 222-pounder from Zachary High School in Louisiana, ranked No. 148 overall in the class. He has scored 52 touchdowns in the last two seasons and 23 more on the ground. Brooks said, “Effective in the short-to-intermediate passing game thanks to plus velocity,” Brooks wrote. “Shows window-fitting ability in those situations. Typically accurate and consistent to those levels. Improved runner as a junior with noticeably better functional athleticism as a scrambler. Not a dancer in a play-extending sense, but climbs the pocket very well and shows some straight-line bursts when deciding to tuck and run. Athletic enough to keep defenses honest and get a designed run here and there.”

The only three-star player signed up for Alabama is Conor Talty, a second-ranked kicker in the country.

Alabama and Nick Saban now have the best players, giving them a reason to display a spectacular game from these promising young Tides of Alabama!
