With the victory in the second test, India has managed to take the top spot in the world test championship (2021-2023) with Pakistan and West Indies retaining the second spot. India has managed to collect 14 points in two test matches it played against England where the first match was a draw and India bounced back in the second match.

India has a total of 58.33 percentage points after winning one match and drawing the other. England is in the fourth spot after they collected a point in the first match after it was a draw. Pakistan managed to level the two-match series and collected 12 world test championship points when it defeated the West Indies by 109 in the second test in Jamaica.

A little earlier, West Indies had managed to win in the first test against Pakistan that led them to collect the 12 WTC points.

In the ongoing Test between India and England, India managed to win the second test by 151 runs. It was a great comeback from the Indian side after the first test match was drawn. Both sides are now going face to face for the 3rd test on Wednesday at Headingley, Leeds.

With the confidence gained from the victory in the second test, India will set to win in the other test matches too that will ensure that India wins five tests against England.

Batsmen Zak Crawley and Dom Sibley were eliminated from the England squad last week and pacer Mark Wood was ruled out of the third Test with an injury on Monday.

Some new faces are expected to be included in the English playing XI but for India, the question remains whether they will change the winning combination or go with the same set of players in the third Test.
