“Will Sourav Ganguly join politics or not?” BCCI president makes it clear.

Speculations were circulating since Saurabh ganguli was appointed the president of BCCI that he was appointed the president of BCCI because he will have to contest the election from the prominent bengal assembly seat on BJP side when the right time will come. 

Since he has been asked many times about his plans to join politics. Everytime he has quashed those questions as rumours. In the past, he was given a proposal to join politics by both BJP and TMC.  Sorav has never come in the open supporting either of the parties so far. 

Sourav Ganguly made it clear in an interview with India today that he loves working for the people, he never cares about any post, he tries to keep everything in control politically, “he will take life as it comes.” said Sourav ganguly. 

Sourav Ganguly has quite a cult in Bengal. He is seen helping people and sitting together side by side and giving them the patient ear. 

Sorav ganguly enjoyed immense popularity in Bengal. He has got many huge fan following in Bengal and outside. Sorav Ganguly has expressed it many times that he is fortunate to have such a fan following. 

Sourav Ganguly has served as a chairman of the Cricket association of Bengal before he was appointed as the president of BCCI. 

Sourav Ganguly made it clear that the much-awaited world test championship will be held between India and New zealand in Southampton on 18 july. He also said, India has huge chances to win the world test championship.

When it comes to politics, there are players who have joined politics like Manoj Tiwary and Ashok dinda. 

Sourav Ganguly suffered from cardiac arrest in January. He had to undergo the Angioplasty in  the Kolkata city hospital. Now he is absolutely fit.
