Contract Extension: Christian Watson, a wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers, has agreed to a new one-year, $13.25 million contract extension that would keep him with the organization through the 2026 NFL season.

Injury Status: Due to a severe torn ACL he sustained against the Chicago Bears in Week 18 of the 2024 season, Watson is presently on the physically unable to perform list.

Career To Date: Watson has had a patchy run since being selected in the second round of the 2022 draft. He played 14 games as a rookie, nine games in 2023, and a career-high 15 games in 2024.

On-Field Production: Watson proved he is a big-play threat last season by displaying his explosive potential despite his injury problems. He recorded 29 receptions for 620 total yards, with an amazing 21.4 yards per catch.
