The Raiders have changed dramatically since Cooper's last appearance in 2018, moving from Oakland to Las Vegas, replacing their coaching staff and front office, and even adding Tom Brady as a minority owner.

Cooper openly admits he has "unfinished business" with the team, believing he did not fully live up to expectations as a top-five draft pick, and sees his return as an opportunity to establish himself again.

The veteran wide receiver is hoping to rebound from a tough 2024 season, when injuries limited him to a career-low 547 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 14 games with the Browns and Bills.

Cooper's leadership and experience are expected to help the Raiders' young receiving corps, which includes Jakobi Meyers and star tight end Brock Bowers, as well as rookies Dont'e Thornton Jr. and Jack Bech.
