1. Alzarri joseph (6)

This West Indies-born player did not play too many matches in the IPL. Yet, he made historical records in the matches he played. He was roped in by the Mumbai Indians in 2019. People were not aware that he would write a record for himself. 

It was the match of Mumbai Indians against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 6 April 2019 where he took mind boggling 6 wickets at the economy rate of 3.27 in an innings. It was an innings worth shocking. 

2. Sohail tanvir (6)

Sohail Tanvir also did not have much of an association with IPL. he only played for one year.  He made his IPL debut in 2008. He made a record by taking 6 wickets against the Chennai super kings. He was also the highest wicket taker in that edition after he took 22 wickets. 

3. Adam zampa (6)

Adam made his IPL debut in 2016 when he was bought by the rising Pune supergiants. This was the season where he got the fame for his wicket-taking skills. 

He played a match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad where he took 6 wickets at the economy rate of 4.75. He later became part of Royal challengers Bangalore.

4. Anil kumble (5)

Anil Kumble was welcomed by the Royal challenger Bangalore in 2008. He was India’s famous leg spinner who played a significant role in India’s Test victory. 

Anil took 5 wickets in the 2009 IPL edition when he bowled 5 bowlers in an innings against Rajasthan Royals. He stayed with RCB for 3 years and then announced retirement from all forms of cricket ahead of IPL auction 2011. 

5. Ishant sharma (5)

Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma, who made his IPL debut in 2008 when Sharuk Khan owned Kolkata, paid a whopping 950,000 dollars. IPL has been a journey where he had twists and turns. He took wickets as well as he was hammered like no one else. 

Still this fast bowler has a record to his name. When Ishant Sharma was in deccan charges in 2011, he took a total of 5 wickets in a single innings against Kochi tuskers Kerala.
