1. Andre Russell (182.33) 

West Indies power hitter is known for his aggressive batting skills. When he is on the field, he brings up a lot of power on his bat and makes runs like he is some kind of run scoring machine. 

Because of his skills, today he has the highest strike rates in the world. 

This all rounder was picked up by the delhi daredevils for the whopping sum of 4,50,000 USD. There were many hopes pinned on him. But due to sparse and injuries, his batting was restricted to a handful of matches in the 2012 and 2013 IPL edition. 

In 2014, He was taken in by the Kolkata Knight Rider. There also, he could not perform well. In 2015, his fortune took a turn to his favour, he was the man of the match thrice in that season. He scored a total 326 runs at the strike rate of 192.89. From then on, he went on scoring runs and taking wickets and rising to the top in many areas. 

2. Ben Cutting (168.79)

Ben Cutting rose to fame after his deceptive bouncer. This allrounder knows very well to change the tide of the game with his batting and bowling skills. 

He was picked up by the Rajasthan Royals in the 2014. He did not get to play much owing to the preference given to other indian bowlers.

Later, he was roped in by the sunrisers Hyderabad in 2015. But 2016 was the season where he left his mark and he gave a mind blowing performance in the final of that season by scoring 39 runs off the 15 deliveries. He also took the match-turning  2 wickets including that of Chris gayle. 

He is regarded as a batsman who has the second highest strike rate in the IPL history. He truly is worthy of this title. 

3. Nicholas Pooran (165.39)

This left-handed batsman came to international limelight when he had a match-winning knock of 118 runs off 103 deliveries against Sri lanka. 

His career has seen many ups and downs from playing well to suffering an injury and to coming back to playing Cricket. 

He got roped in by the King Eleven Punjab. But, he did not have many chances to play. Later, he had associations with Mumbai Indians. 

He had scored a total of 521 runs at the strike rate of 169.39 in the seasons he played. 

4. Sunil Narine (165.39)

Sunil narine is more of an outstanding off spinner bowler from the West Indies. His wicket taking skills are just near to perfection. 

Owing to his outstanding wicket taking skills, he was bought by the Kolkata knight riders for 700000 USD. He justified his inclusion by taking 24 wickets in that season. Kolkata knight riders emerged victorious in that season because of the contribution made by the sunil narine. He was also awarded the title of man of the tournament. 

He had stayed in the Kolkata team since and he also made enormous contributions in helping Kolkata win the IPL trophy for the second time.  

He wields his influence both in batting and bowling. He is counted among the top 5 batsmen with the highest strike rates in the IPL history. He has scored a total 892 runs with the average of 165.39.  

5. Hardik Pandya ( 159.26)

Everyone is acquainted with hardik pandya’s flamboyant personality and mister cool attitude. He is also a power hitter as he is flamboyant.  

His performance in IPL helped him to national fame when he hit unbeaten 61 off 31 balls. He offers a great combination of both batting and bowling.  

 He entered the IPL in 2015 in the Mumbai Indian franchise. He has been part of the Mumbai Indians since then giving the exhibition of his performance in all the seasons.

He is the fifth batsman with the highest strike rates in the IPL history. He has scored a total 1350 runs with the average of 159.26.
