LeBron James claims his kid Bronny is doing ‘extremely well’ after suffering a heart attack in July.

Bronny James is doing “extremely well” roughly two months after having a heart attack. He has begun a rehab procedure to get him back on the floor with his teammates at Southern California, according to LeBron James.

James further stated that Bronny, an 18-year-old freshman at USC, underwent successful surgery following the July 24 incident in which Bronny collapsed while exercising with the USC basketball team.

According to Reuters, Bronny was hospitalized and placed in critical care before being discharged three days later. Bronny later had surgery.

During the Los Angeles Lakers’ annual media day, James delivered an update.

“To see what he had to go through, or what he’s been through, it’s been a lot over the last few months,” James added. “I can only imagine how difficult it has been for him because it has been difficult for me and our family.” The man above has surely given us a lot of strength, as well as Bronny’s ability to bounce back.

“And if (Bronny) walked in right now, you wouldn’t know he had what he had because of how well he’s moving and how vibrant he is.” It’s a wonderful thing to have him where he is today.”

Bronny will be the focus of James’ upcoming season, his 21st in the NBA and sixth with the Lakers.

“This summer has been a whirlwind of emotions for our family,” James remarked. “But the best thing we have is each other, and we stuck together and gave Bronny strength throughout the whole thing.” “And we are pleased with where he is today and eager to see what the future holds for him.”
