IPL 2021: Royal challengers bangalore replaces Josh philippe with New zealand’s Finn allen

Royal challengers bangalore has drawn in Fin allen in the place of Josh philippe. As Josh phillie will be unavailable for the full season. Josh phille made his debut in the IPL as part of royal challenger bangalore. He played a total of 5 matches in UAE where he managed to score 78 runs. He was retained by the Royal challenger Bangalore for the IPL 2021 in auction.

Fin Allen is hitting batsman who has not  played for the new zealand so far but he is someone to watch out for.

Allen has played 12 first-class, 20 Lista A and 12 T20s in his nascent career. His strike rate in the shortest format of the game is a staggering 183.27.

As recently as february 28, Fin allen smashed a total 128 runs off the 59 runs where he played for Wellington for Otago. He is certainly an aggressive player. Allen had a price equivalent to Josh philippe. This was the reason he was picked up by the Royal challenger bangalore.

“Finn had a base price of INR 20L equivalent to that of Josh Philippe. It will be Finn’s debut IPL season this year when he plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore,” an IPL release said.

RCB will be up against the Mumbai Indians in the first match of IPL on 9 April.

Each team is set to play at four venues during the league stage.

Out of the 56 league matches, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru will host 10 matches each while Ahmedabad and Delhi will host 8 matches each.
