As IPL is about to start from April 9. There are a few players who will not be part of the opening games of IPL due to their national duties. All of them are an important part of their respective franchises but their national duty will take precedence over their IPL.

Quint de Kock from Mumbai Indians, Kagiso Rabada from the Delhi capitals, Anrich nortje from the Delhi capitals, David miller from the Rajasthan royals will be likely to miss the initial matches of IPL.

All of them are part of the South african team. These players have crucial roles to play in the IPL. They will be missed badly by the IPL fans especially players Kagiso rabada and Anrich nortje who have played a significant role in taking the Delhi capital to the final. They took a total of 52 wickets together.

Once they complete their series there, they will have to undergo a mandatory quarantine in India to minimise the risk of Corona virus which will further push them to miss more matches.

However, IPL franchises have the option to avail the bubble to bubble arrangement to bring the players back without requiring to undergo a week-long quarantine. It is upto the franchise to take final call on this implaementinhg this arrangement where players will be directly brought back from the Pakistan in a chartered flight.

South Africa will play the first ODI on 2 April and second ODI will be played on 4 April and the last match will be played on 7 April before players can be allowed to join the IPL.
