Rajasthan Royals Ben Stokes has been ruled out of the IPL after he injured his left hand finger while fielding. This comes as shocking news for the Rajasthan Royals as Ben stokes was the crucial all rounder in the team.

In the tenth over, when Chris Gayle smashed the ball towards the cover, Ben Stokes ran and dived to catch the ball to send Chris Gayle off the field. But something went wrong and it broke his finger. Due to injury, he did not bowl after that.

Rajasthan royals franchise expressed their dismay at the injury of Ben stokes and prayed for the speedy recovery of him.

“Everyone at Rajasthan Royals absolutely admires Ben for being such a huge asset and a valuable member of the Royals family, both on and off the field, and wishes him a speedy recovery,” the franchisee said in a statement released.

“We are delighted that Ben would like to stay with the group to provide his valued support and inputs off the field. In the meantime, we will be reviewing potential replacement options for the remainder of the season,” the statement added.

He subsequently came to bat to open the innings for the Rajasthan Royals but he could not last long and as he got out just after playing the three balls.

It will be a struggle for the Rajasthan Royals to come up with a replacement with Jofra archers already recuperating behind the walls. In place of the Jofra archer, Rajasthan Royals may come up with one of the players among the Corey Anderson, Scott kuggleijin, Devon conway.
