India vs England T20: Will Surya kumar make the debut this time?

There is debate going on in the Cricket fraternity whether Surya Kumar will make debut in T20 or not. This is a big conundrum for the team. As putting Surya Kumar in the playing 11 will imply that Shreyas Iyer will have to miss out or there will be change in the batting line-up. 

Some are arguing that Surya kumar yadav should be admitted into the batting line-up from the first match itself in the place of Shreyas iyer. Some argue that suryakumar should not be allowed to play as it will upset the batting line-up.

In the existing batting line-up, Shreyas Iyer comes at no. 4. If Surya kumar yadav is allowed at no. 4, either Shreyas Iyer will have to move to number 5 or he will have to miss out of the T20.

There is already a confusion regarding the opening batsman of India persists with the opening pair of rohit sharma and shikhar dhawan, they kl rahul will be pushed to no. 4, only at the expense of Shreyas iyer.  

There is a complex conundrum regarding accommodating the players. It will only become clear when real matches start and what team management decides who will play and who will be absent considering the situation of the match.  

If Surya kumar yadav makes it the indian team this is how batting line-up will look like:

1. Rohit sharma 2) Shikhar dhawan/ KL Rahul 3) Virat kohli 4) Surya kumar yadav 5) Shreyas iyer/ KL Rahul.

In 2020, Surya kumar yadav was the seventh highest run getter in the IPL and third highest in the Mumbai Indians. Surya Kumar has worked hard for four years to reach this position. 

He played a total of 16 matches where he scored 480 runs at the strike rate of 145.01. His average was 40. Whereas, Shreyas Iyer has played a total of 17 matches where he scored 519 at the strike rate of 123.27and his average was 34.60. Surya kumar yadav played one less match than Shreyas Iyer. 

It all depends on the team management as to how it solves this conundrum.
