Carlos Alcaraz vs Filip Krajinovic Prediction in Hamburg European Open 2022

Without a doubt, Carlos Alaraz is the favorite for the contest between Spaniard and Serbian. However, both the players have qualities that may anchor for any one of them to get a ticket for the Hamburg European Open quarterfinals.

Carlos will have an upper hand in the battle as he is in outstanding form this season winning 20 out of 22 matches on the clay court. He also won three tournaments on the clay court. However, Krajinovic has only won 5 out of 10 matches on the clay court.

In addition to playing aggressively from the baseline, Alcaraz is a strong defender and has excellent court coverage. The Spaniard is a really strong hitter who constantly changes things up with his incredible drop shots.

Krajinovic won 72% of the points he received on his first serve against Baez in the opening round of the tournament. To keep up with the teenager, the Serb will rely primarily on his two-handed backhand and will need to commit as few unforced errors as possible.

Alcaraz may find it challenging to overcome Krajinovic, but given his skill and maturity, he should be able to do so and easily advance to the Hamburg European Open quarterfinals.
Our Pick: Carlos Alcaraz to win in straight sets.
