So far, pat cummins holds the record of receiving the highest bid of 15.5 crore. Kolkata knight riders took up the efforts to break down their wallet to purchase pat cummins.

We will get to see in the auction if any player manages to top the record of pat cummins.

Will it be Steven smith or Glenn maxwell? Or some other players? All our speculations will be buried on 15 februray.

1. Shakib al hasan

Shakib al hasan has had a stint with kolkata knight riders and sunrisers hyderabad. He could not get much time to prove his mettle in the ipl. Internationally, he has done the great job.

Shakib is considered to be the greatest all rounder in the world. He has earned a great name for Bangladesh.

Shakib has played a total 63 matches where he has scored 746 runs at the strike rate of 126.65 and he made 59 scalps at the economy rate of 7.46.

He is expected to be picked up by Royal challenger bangalore and king eleven punjab. Whichever team franchise is going to acquire him, it will have to have a deep pocket.

 2. Steven smith

Steven smith’s career has been of many twists and turns. But he stood the ground and kept performing better and managed to bury the criticism that was hurled at him.

Steven smith has had a long association with the IPL. He has been associated with Rajasthan royals, Pune supergiants and Royal challengers bangalore. He had a remarkable record in the IPL. Steven smith played 14 matches amassing 311 runs at the strike rate of 131.22.

When we have to think of the fastest scorers in the world, Glenn Maxwell’s name can not be missed. Yes, he is the fastest scorer in the world in the short formats. Maxwell is usually known for the unconventional shot because he can turn around the game at any moment.

He has had many highs and lows in the IPL over the course of his IPL stint. Of late, he was part of Kings eleven punjab. But he has been released by Punjab owing to his bad performance.

He is up for auction. He will definitely be picked by IPL franchise with the deep pocket.
