It has been finally announced that the IPL 2021 auction will be held on 18 february. Many new players are expected to be included and excluded in this season. Big bash league is coming to end and if facts are true, many top performing players in Big bash league are going to make it to the IPL 2021 auctions and eventually in the teams. These players might fetch some big amount and can offer competitions to the cricketers who have pinned their hopes to get either of the teams in the IPL auctions 2021. 

1. Alex carey

Alex Carey who has been part of Delhi capitals in IPL 2020, has played 3 matches with a strike rate of 110.34 scoring 32. He did not get too many chances to prove his mettle. Owing to this, he has been released from the Delhi capitals. 

But in the Big bash league, he has been a consistent performer, he has shown by his performances that he is not the player to be missed. He has played a total 13 matches scoring 425 runs with a strike rate of 122.13 in the current season. There would definitely be a bidding competition for him in this season of IPL Auction. 

2. Dan christein

There are a few players who have the power to change the direction of the game and one of them is the Dan christein who possesses the strength who can single handedly take the team to victory. He has proved this multiple times in big bash league.  He has played a total 13 matches with the scores of 252 and he has also taken 13 wickets with the economy rate 9.10. 

He might make a comeback in the IPL auction. However, he went unsold in 2018 IPL auction on the account of his high base price.  But his skills in the recent Big bash will surely attract the many bidders. 

3. Glenn maxwell

Glenn Maxwell is the only player who can play a range of shots covering 360 degree of the ground. Although he has been released from the king eleven punjab owing to the disastrous defeat of King Eleven Punjab in the last season of IPL. 

But recently he has assumed his performance of glory days in the big bash league. He played a total 13 matches scoring 379 runs with the strike rate of 143.56. His performances have excited many takers to pick him up for the upcoming season of IPL. 

4. Liam livingstone

He is counted among the top scorers in the big bash league. He has played 11 matches scoring 289 runs with the strike rate of 125.65. He played for Rajasthan royals and was released in 2019. But he did not participate in the 2019 IPL auction because he wanted to be part of the england test squad. 

He is considered to be the most destructive player. He is going to make a comeback in either of the teams of IPL in this season. 

5. Josh inglis

Although Josh inglis has never featured in any of the ipl seasons but this time he might find a spot for himself in the IPL.

Australian wicket keeper and imposing batsman is too prominent a player to be ignored. He has played 11 matches scoring 289 with the strike rate of 125.65 in the current season.
